On my natural hair journey, I’ve gained personal knowledge on what foods and vitamins I should eat in a day to promote my hair growth journey. It’s been fun but very interesting to say the least. I did my big chop in 2018. I’ve gotten the chance to learn my natural hair textures. How to manage my hair and what I need to eat in a day. I told you from the beginning of this post. It’s been very interesting to say the least and I mean that.

Foods That Promote Hair Growth

  1. Nuts — Such as walnuts or Brazilian nuts which are high in selenium, omega fatty acids and biotin. Promote long and strong hair. Nuts are high on protein and zinc
  2. Beans — Good source of zinc which is an essential part to hair growth and hair repair
  3. Eggs — Eating eggs will give you adequate protein and biotin. Needed to grow your hair long and strong
  4. Avocado — Good source of Vitamin B & E. Vitamin B-7 is the biotin which is essential for hair growth. Vitamin E helps repair damage on to the scalp
  5. Sweet Potatoes — Good source of beta-carotene. Once consumed it is then converted to Vitamin A. Vitamin A helps with a number of things to your body. For your hair it creates a oily scalp to promote hair growth
  6. Oysters — Excellent source of zinc. Did you know that a low level of zinc in your body can lead to dandruff and even hair loss. Got to consume foods with a excellent level of zinc
  7. Fish — Eating Fatty Fish have an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids. Which leads to hair growth
  8. Shrimp — No matter what you think of Shrimp. Shrimp is an excellent source of protein, Vitamin B, Zinc, Iron and Vitamin D. Shrimp got what you need!!
  9. Spinach — Loaded with Folate, Iron, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Promotes Hair Growth and keeps your skin moisturize

Vitamins that Promote Hair Growth Other Vitamins Needed

Anyone growing natural hair and having a hard time doing so. You must first know the type of texture your hair is. Once you know that, you can create a regimen and a route to maintain your hair shaft and length. This will help in growing your hair thicker and longer.

Now just because you may consume these foods on a daily. What matters is the amount and/quantity of which you’re consuming. Making sure it’s a balance meal. With the accurate amount of water intake.

Just like your skin, your hair needs to be nurtured on a daily basis, internally and externally. Feed your body the appropriate foods and what it flourish.

Secret Recipe to Health Growth

Ingredients

  • White Sugar
  • Raw Sugar
  • Raw Honey
  • Sweet Almond Oil

Instructions

  • Combine All Ingredients until completely mixed
  • Let it sit for 5 minutes
  • Part your hair in small parts
  • Apply the scrub directly on scalp
  • Rub your scalp until dandruff and dirt has separated from your scalp
  • Repeat each step, until you’re finished
  • Once your done, wash your hair thoroughly until water run clear (2 or 3 times)
  • Condition your hair as usual
  • Sit under the dryer and let the conditioner moisturize your scalp
